Welcome Parents, Administrators, and Students!

The main purpose of this wordblog is to provide parents and students another forum of communication.  Any student taking an AP course will discover how time consuming and stressful it can be.  This college level course will demand students to independently work on their own a great deal.  While class time will be utilized for class discussions and activities, it is vital that the majority of the reading be completed at home.  Parents, this is where you come in.  I would appreciate your support by encouraging your child to complete the necessary reading assignments at home.  Please check the course outline to help you keep your child on track.  If you have questions or comments please email me at aaragon@yumaed.org.

This site will be used as a resource tool for students in our AP U.S. History class.  I will also periodically post assignments here to remind students what they are responsible for.  Students, please feel free to leave your comments in response to the different posting.  I will post questions pertaining to each unit to give you a chance to practice writing and expressing your points of view. Make sure you visit all the resource sites I have provided here to help you out in class.

  2. As nice as it is to have a website were we can look up information about the class and things that are coming up, if were absent for instance, I find the site hard to navigate. I normally can follow most sites, I have the feeling that a lot of students will not be able to even read this because they will not be able to find it. If you could somehow reorganize the site that would help a lot of students who can not use the computer as well as others.
