Conservation Efforts of Theodore Roosevelt

President Roosevelt’s conservation effort is impressive as well as imperative for the “unborn generations” future generations of Americans who will thank this president’s foresight.  His relentless effort to conserve America’s natural resources for future generations resulted in five National Park, eighteen National monuments, fifty wildlife sanctuary and over 148 million forest land conserve and safe from public sells. His progressive conservation plan focused on three areas:  water conservation, wildlife protection and forest protection.

Has any other president done as much or more than President Roosevelt when it comes to protecting our environment?
